Jodie Woodward-  is a force of nature on the Bass.   Her journey began in the rhythmic crucible of New Orleans in 1988, where she cut her teeth on a world-class education in blues, zydeco, and gospel.  Since moving to Boulder in 1999, Jodie has become a pillar of the Colorado music scene, touring and recording with top-tier national and international talent.  She is responsible for establishing all female showcases and events:  Women Rock the Night,  Hermonious,  Ladies of Country Showcase, and Groove Goddess. A seven-time winner of the Colorado Blues Society Member Choice Awards for Favorite Bassist.  She seamlessly blends New Orleans blues, funk, swing, country, and rockabilly.  Whether she is holding down the groove on her electric or bringing out the upright bass, Jodie brings a veterans soul and a masters touch to every stage.

Vocals- Cass Clayton Band is a 6-piece, female-fronted band rooted in Funk, Neo-Soul, Jazz and Rock. Cass has been voted Colorado’s Favorite Female Vocalist multiple years running (Colorado Blues Society Member Choice Awards), winning the 2026 Favorite Female Vocalist Tie with fellow Groove Goddess, Jessica Rogalski.  She has garnered praise as one of the state’s top songwriters. CCB is somewhat of a supergroup made of some of Colorado’s top musicians, including members of Taylor Scott Band, The Jauntee, The Other Brothers  ,and Lit Society. The group is working on their 5th studio album following the success of MIDNIGHT IN A BOTTLE, which charted #1 R&B Album in the U.S. for 13 weeks on the Roots Radio Charts. They’re excited to bring more contemporary sounds and the experimentation that the band has become known for with new releases in the summer of 2026. CCB plays adverse array of festivals and shows, bringing their high-energy stage presence and love of music to diverse audiences in Colorado and beyond.

Vocals - Jessica is a powerhouse lead vocalist and songwriter for local award winning band Mojomama. She has co- written 7 original albums along with her husband, Paul Rogalski bassist and manager of the band since 2003.  Together they own Mojos Music Academy  where she heads the vocal department, inspiring others to sing . Jessica has been stirring up the Colorado  music scene, taking home awards and accolades along the way.  Colorado blues society has awarded her Favorite Female Vocalist Members Choice Award in 2015,  2018, 2025, and 2026 Tie with fellow Groove Goddess, Cass  Clayton! 

Jessica’s  vocal performance style is a blend of technical skill with a soulful authentic delivery.  Perfect mix of  Donna  Summer  meets Susan Tedeschi  with a splash of Janis! 

Vocals/Guitar - Eef, the tall-Dutch-girl-with-the-red-guitar, moved to the US in 1999 and currently lives in Denver, Colorado .   With her band Eef and the Blues Express, she has played festivals and clubs in Colorado and surrounding states. The band was a Memphis IBC semi-finalist in 2017, and was nominated twice for Westword  "Best Blues Band" winner.

Eef has won the Colorado Blues Society Members Choice Award for ‘Favorite Songwriter’ twice. She has self-produced four albums that get airplay at blues stations all over the world with Eef and the Blues Express.

She has opened for Coco Montoya, Samantha Fish, Tommy Castro, Tinsley Ellis, Nick Moss, and Bernard Allison. Eef also plays solo at Farmers Markets, patios, and private events, and occasionally travels to Arkansas to play with the all female project “Divas on Fire” . 

Vocals/Guitar - Hailing from the vibrant city of Denver, Colorado, Michelle has carved out a significant presence in the Songwriter community, becoming a celebrated artist known for her authenticity and soulful expression. Her style intertwines her deep roots in blues and Americana with a unique twist that reflects her Latin heritage.

Michelle honed her craft by frequenting blues clubs and open mic stages across the greater Denver area. Her talent has earned wide recognition, including the 2026 CBS Member's Choice Songwriter Award, a 2024 CBS Member's Choice nomination for Favorite Vocalist, and a finalist spot in the 2024 CBS International Blues Challenge.

Her Debut EP, released in 2024, has been well received by audiences both locally and beyond. She performs regularly across the greater Denver area as a solo artist, collaborates in several duo projects and continues to write songs. 

Shaunda has been in the entertainment industry in one form or another for most of her adult life. Now as a vocalist, she’s been singing professionally since she turned 50. Full of energy, she pours it all out to the audience, and is loving the opportunity to share the stage with amazing women.

Harmonica - Kim grew up in Denver, developing an interest in great blues singers and harmonica players in her teens.   Blues has always been her passion; inspired by  her parents love of jazz and blues.  She was  especially drawn to the harmonica, as she started playing the chromatic  harmonica at the age of 12 and is considered to be a soulful harmonica musician in the Denver Blues scene.  Kim has performed with Maynard Mills Blues and Tony Luke Band.

She has worked with Jodie Woodward for Woodward Productions helping  coordinate such  events as Women Rock the Night from 2004 to 2008, Blues Holiday Toy Drives and other musical projects.

Keys - Miranda holds a B.M. in Music Composition from Illinois State University (Summa Cum Laude) and a Master’s in Music Composition from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She has also been commissioned by artists such as Chuck Bontrager, Illinois Modern Ensemble, and Fifth House Ensemble (via their virtual Fresh Inc Festival 2020) to compose contemporary classical, jazz, and third stream works. In addition, she has appeared as a pianist at the Sonare Festival (Lafayette, CO), the University of Illinois, Illinois State University, and various local venues.   In her spare time, she enjoys rock climbing, dancing, and doing chin-ups while dreaming of petting cute cats.

Drums - Shannon is a native of Cheyenne, Wyoming  and attended the University of Northern Colorado School of Music. Shannon Spencer has been a driving force in the Denver music scene since the mid-80s. From her early days as a jazz drummer to her work with local acts like Blue Roux, Politely Rude, Coyote Poets of the Universe, and The Rhythm AllStars.  Known for her ability to bridge jazz, blues, and rock, Shannon plays every set with a smile that’s as steady as her beat.
